Suggesting reducing the individual per pellet damage of the common shotgun shell from 12 to 10, changing the effectiveness at mid to long range to be slightly less oppressive. This would mean that shotguns will still 2 hit crit an unarmored target at point blank but allow a well armored target to withstand one more shot, and this should make them a little less effective down long hallways.
